Gabby's ranch for wayward boys is in financial trouble. One of his boys, Chip (Tommy Cook) is hiding stolen money sent by his father the outlaw leader King Blaine (Lyle Talbot). After Blaine is killed, Chip decides to pay off Gabby's debt with this money, but trouble arises when the remaining gang members arrive looking for the loot

The sweet Cowboy life
I thouroughly enjoyed this Roy Rogers film. It's as first reviewer said, I only want to add that the song and dance to Mr Spooky was interesting as well
...
as entertaining. After all these years of watching movies I've never seen a Halloween reference like this one, and I love the goodness of this movie and weep some at the loss of goodness in our generation.

Pure Roy Rogers fare
Singing, bad guys, Gabby, fist fights, good triumphs over evil, and you get to see Roy ride Trigger. No one, ever, could ride a horse like Roy.
